Overview
Prfrm needed a site that explains a modern AI product without hype fog. Buyers needed clarity, not buzzwords.
I designed and built the site in Framer as a modular marketing system the team could extend.
The problem
AI product marketing has a credibility problem largely of its own making. The category vocabulary has been so thoroughly overused that the standard phrasing now actively signals vagueness. A site leaning on it reads as indistinguishable from every other AI product, regardless of what it actually does.
Compounding this: the product was iterating fast and positioning was still settling. A site built around one fixed narrative would have needed rebuilding within months.
Constraints
Fast iteration cycles, product messaging still evolving, and a need for a Framer system marketing could ship against without developer involvement.
Approach
I wrote toward specificity. Wherever a generic claim appeared, it was replaced with something concrete about what the product does and for whom. Specificity is what separates a credible AI product site from a template — and it is free.
Product sections lead with outcomes and follow with mechanism, so a buyer understands relevance before being asked to absorb how it works. That ordering matters more in AI than most categories, because buyer familiarity varies enormously.
The build is deliberately modular. Sections are components that can be reordered, duplicated or retired as positioning firms up. When the story changes — and for an early product it will — marketing edits content rather than commissioning a rebuild.
Visual treatment stays restrained. In a category saturated with gradient-and-glow conventions, a calmer interface reads as more serious, and lets the copy carry the argument.
Escaping category vocabulary
AI product marketing has a credibility problem largely of its own making. The standard vocabulary has been used so indiscriminately that it now signals vagueness rather than capability. A site leaning on it reads as interchangeable with every other AI product, whatever the underlying quality.
The fix is unglamorous: replace every generic claim with something concrete about what the product does and who it does it for. Specificity costs nothing and is the clearest available signal that a real product exists behind the marketing.
Sequencing for mixed buyer familiarity
AI buyers arrive with wildly varying context — some evaluate technically, others have only a general sense of the category. Product sections lead with the outcome and follow with the mechanism, so a reader can stop as soon as they have what they need without being blocked by terminology earlier in the page.
Restraint as a signal
In a category saturated with gradients, glow effects and animated abstractions, a calmer interface reads as more serious. Visual treatment was kept deliberately quiet so the copy carries the argument — which also keeps the page fast, since most of those conventions are expensive to render.
Built for iteration
Positioning was still settling and the roadmap was moving. Sections are modular components that can be reordered, duplicated or retired as the story firms up, so the site evolves through content edits rather than rebuilds.
Outcome
A cleaner product story online and a Framer foundation the team can extend as the roadmap moves.

Frequently asked questions
What does a B2B AI company need from its website?
Clarity above everything. AI products are easy to describe in language nobody outside the company understands. The work here was positioning and messaging first, then a site structure that answers what it does, who it is for, and what happens next.
Was the messaging part of the project?
Yes. Positioning and message direction came before layout, because a well-designed page that does not say the right thing is an expensive way to be unclear.
Can the site scale as the product changes?
It is built as a design system with CMS collections behind the content, so new pages and product sections get assembled from existing components rather than designed from scratch.
